I am creating this site in memory of my very dear friend Maureen with the blessing from her daughter Tracy. Maureen or Moe as she was always called was a lovely women who would help anyone no matter what nothing was too much trouble for her. She loved life she was the life and soul of any party and it always ended up a brilliant night. Moe was married to Vic and they had a daughter Tracy and 2 lovely grandchildren Ashley and Rhianne whom she doted on and they were the twinkle in her eyes. she spoke of them every day and was very proud of them. She worked at King's College Hospital and even got her long service award (25 years). This is where I met her we use to have a laugh all of us girls together including Sandra, Jeanette, Kim and Cathy. Moe knew loads of people and no one had a bad word to say about her. She use to play darts for her local pub called in Moe's words "the lizzy". But one day on February 14th 2004 Moe and her mum were involved in a head on collision, luckily they were not seriously hurt although they had to be cut out the wreckage by the fireman they were really lucky.
But after this Moe was found to have lung cancer she was very brave through all the treatment the day I found out I cried and could not believe what more could she go through it was unfair. Moe remained very strong and told me she was planning christmas at her place with Tracy, Ashley, Rhianne and Vic and her mum she knew it would be her last, she had a new dress and had her hair done. We saw her just before christmas and although she was in pain you could see it in her face she was smiling. Then on February 21st 2005 I got a phone call from Vic to say she has passed away. He said that she was smiling when she went and he got his old Moe back at the end there was no sign of any pain on her face. Although it upset us we knew she would not suffer any more. Her funeral was packed with so many friends and family that it was lovely to see how many people cared about her.
I know that she is watching over her family and friends and I still talk to her every day. So my dear friend Moe please continue to watch over the family and I know how proud you are of Ashley and Rhianne and Tracy. Also watch over Vic and your mum also please watch over everyone that loves you and misses you. RIP Moe we all miss you.
5th Anniversary
Hi my best friend Moe it is 5 years ago today that you left us all so sad and heartbroken but I miss u still today, I think about u every day and look at your picture of you and Vic that I have up in my office when you came to my wedding and I smile and remember god only takes the best and leaves the rest. I really wish you would come and give me a message Moe when I go to see a spiritualist on 12 March and just let me know ur fine although I know you are, and also give me a message for your daughter Tracy who still misses u so much and every one else. well moe speak again soon.

Hi Moe it is 4 years ago today that u left us all heart broken and sad I still think about u every day and I know u hear me when I speak to u I know that u are watching over everyone and u are very proud of the grand children.

Well Moe it has been so long since I came to say hello to you. I miss you still so much. I lost my dad in March 08 it has been so hard to get over I think about you every day and I speak to you every day but you that. Can you believe that Ashly now 17 wow what a star he is, I have not seen h im since your funeral but I know you are always looking over them all. Well Moe I will be back to speakk soon to you.

Well it has been a while since we chatted but not much to say in that I still miss you and I miss speaking to you on the phone, it is still strange that you are not here. I know how pleased and very proud you are of your grandchildren and you would be smiling about Ashley as he is doing so well.

Just to say although you probably already know the King's club is no more, well we knew it was going to happen just took longer, I still miss you Moe I look at your picture taken at my wedding and remember how you made me laugh. I will see you again one day Moe and have a game of darts. keep watching over your loving family and friends.
